This is like a western 2.0 should look like! Take away the ugly hats and boots but keep the leather embroideries and move them to the pants. Keep the fringes as well, the belts and the light blue color of denim – but throw away the fabric – and add lots of gold.
There you go! Who else if not Balmain could make the Far West look so punky, so 80s and nevertheless so up-to date?
Fringes and boots details:
I think that for now this is the best show of the season!
Well done Olivier Rousteing!

These are my personal picks from Milano’s fashion week. I love them all!
And among these…
One is a strawberry
One has a Pisa Tower print
One reminds me of Anna Dello Russo
One is inspired by the lights of village festivals in South Italy
One comes from under the sea
One reminds me of the late 90s
One is Bianca Balti
One is a torero
One looks like a tweed pull
One has an eggplant print.
Can you tell which is which?

So that’s it, these are the outfits I enjoyed the most from -almost- each S/S 2012 show of New York’s Fashion Week.
As you can say from my choices I loved the bright colors like yellow and orange plus loved the deep blue, moustard and emerald green, and went crazy for color blocks and all types of geometric patterns like stripes and pois. And, of course, I loved total white looks.
What did you fall in love with? And which show did you like the most?
Let me know, let me know!
